Microsoft has released a major update for its Upload Studio app, bumping the version number up to a round 2.0. The new app comes with numerous improvements thanks to community feedback.
Apparently, Upload Studio, which allows users to save, edit and share gameplay clips is one of the most popular apps on Xbox One, and the experience has just got a lot better. The new version comes with a redesigned UI that make it easier to start creating clips.
Upload Studio 2.0 also brings new features, including title cards, video effects and transitions, new capabilities for Kinect videos, such as a green-screen effect and, most importantly, better editing tools. It also allows for up to 15 clips to be stitched together for a total runtime of 30 minutes.
You can check out Major Nelson’s video for an in-depth look at some of the new features. Meanwhile we’ll be patiently waiting for the new features to make their way to Windows 10.
