Users are now being invited to test a pre-release version of the Google app for Android

A recent report from Android Central states that Google has begun a new testing program designed to offer users a chance to experiment with a pre-release version of the Google app for Android.

Users who desire to participate in the program can hit the landing page and sign into their Google accounts to register. Those who do so, will be greeted with a message similar to the one seen in the screenshot posted below, opting in will allow you to begin testing the application.

Moreover, as stated in the following screenshot, a pre-release version of the app should arrive soon after a user has become part of the testing program; users who do not receive the pre-release software should follow the provided instructions. Participants can also leave at any time.

Because this is pre-release software, Google cautions that participation may result in instability or generally unexpected behavior (e.g., software bugs). Users are requested to submit feedback to the company through a new e-mail address that is dedicated to the testing program.
