Recently, Motorola announced its new budget-friendly smartphones, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus. Today, Verizon Wireless has started selling the Moto E4 for a discounted price of $69.99, which is about 46% discount on the original $129.99 price. To buy this phone, customers also have to sign up for one of Verzion’s prepaid plans.
For the price, Moto E4 has some pretty decent specs. The phone comes with Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of on-board storage which can be extended up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The Moto E4 has a 5-inch HD 720p (1,280 x 720) fully laminated display.
The phone also packs a 2,800 mAh removable battery, and has a 8MP rear camera, coupled with a 5MP front shooter. It is worth noting that this budget smartphone also has a water-repellent coating - not to be confused with water resistance.
Verizon will remain the only seller for Moto E4 until June 30, when the unlocked version becomes available. Other US carriers will start the selling of this phone in July, but in the meantime eager folks can get it from Verizon.
