A video on Youtube has surfaced showing a hands-on with the Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 is preloaded with KeyLimePie, and as commenters have already pointed out, this appears to be an earlier build of Android 4.4, which we now know is being released as KitKat.
The 7 minute video doesn"t show much of the device itself - which appears to be the 16GB version - aside from a small intro which shows the Nexus 5 to be rather thin; the preloaded software is also all in French which we get plenty of to see.
In any case, we won"t have long to wait if the recent rumors turn out to be true, the device is expected to be announced on Tuesday.
The Nexus 5 - which is being built by LG - is expected to feature a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM, up to 32GB of storage and a 4.95-inch 1080p display, along with integrated wireless charging. Perhaps the most extraordinary aspect of the device could be its price, with some suggesting that it could cost as little as $299.
The rumoured October 15 launch date is also broadly in line with previous reports, which have also suggested that the device will begin shipping before the end of this month.
