One of the most popular sports games in the arcades as well as on the home consoles is the Sega tennis game Virtua Tennis. This game, which is arguably the best of its kind to date, is now coming to the PC.
Visually this should be one of the best-looking sports simulations on the PC for quite some time. The players will follow the movement of the ball, and stars like Sampras, Moya and Henman. There will also be online and network play and online tournaments are also a possibility. Virtua Tennis is being developed by the English developer Rowan and their previous games have all been impressive, even if they have also been in the decidedly different genre that is the flight simulator.
Virtua Tennis for the PC should be released in late February.
