With VisionTek hitting the bargain buckets as resellers attempt to clear out the troubled companies stock we ask are the VisionTek cards based on NVIDIA Ti chipsets worthy of a buy? Do we need the warrantee or should we take a risk?, and if so then will the VisionTek models still power our games adequately?
As you may have heard, VisionTek is close to bankruptcy. One source at NVIDIA said that VisionTek U.S has ceased to exist in the U.S but is still being represented by third party companies in the U.K and Europe. Little is known other than some big players at VisionTek left to join a new kick started company called bfgtech that effectively covers the same market as VisionTek (U.S retail & oem).
