As some of you may know, beta testing for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET CodeName Everett has begun. Kits have already been shipped out for a good majority of the testers, including all eight CD"s with documentation.

Compared to Microsoft Visual Studio .NET the install time almost doubled on my machine. As you can tell, there"s 8 CD"s in this release, compared to 7 in the first. Total install time was a little over 1 hour, including the optional programs, Visio for Visual Studio .NET, and Visual SourceSafe 6.0D.
