Vivo announced today the launch of V15 in India after introducing the smartphone to Thailand, Malaysia, and Cambodia earlier this month. Like its pricier sibling - the Vivo V15 Pro - which was unveiled last month in India, the V15"s main attraction is its 32MP pop-up selfie camera meant to get rid of the display notch.
The V15 sports a 6.53-inch display with a 2340 x 1080 resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Noticeably, it"s slightly bigger than the Pro variant, which has a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display. The phone boasts a triple camera setup on the back with a 12MP main sensor backed by 8MP and 5MP cameras.
Under the hood, it is powered by a Helio P70 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device also includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4,000mAh battery with Dual-Engine Fast Charging support. Of course, the V15 runs Android 9.0 Pie.
It will be available for purchase from April 1 for ₹23,990 (~$347) via Flipkart, Amazon India"s online store, Vivo India"s website, and physical stores across the country. Pre-orders are set to open on March 25.
