Walmart offers Xbox One with Kinect, Forza 5 and extra game for $499

Even though Microsoft is now letting people purchase the Xbox One without the Kinect sensor for $399, there are consumers who may prefer to buy the game console with the voice and motion gesture peripheral. For those buyers, Walmart now has a deal that may be to their liking.

Walmart is currently selling the Xbox One Kinect SKU online, as part of their Father"s Day sales promotions, for its normal price of $499 but is throwing in two freebies. One is a card with a digital download code for a free copy of the Xbox One launch title Forza Motorsport 5. The other, and even nicer, free item is a choice of an Xbox One game on disc from a list of 18 titles.

The games on the list include Call of Duty: Ghosts, Titanfall, Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Assassin"s Creed IV: Black Flag and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Sadly, Watch Dogs, the just-released and long-awaited open-world action game from Ubisoft, is not among the titles on Walmart"s free list. However, buyers of this bundle could, in theory, trade in their disc-based game at GameStop or another retailer to get a discount on Watch Dogs if they wanted.

Since this special bundle is being tied into a Father"s Day sale, it"s likely that Walmart will discontinue this particular deal on or around June 15th.
