War Inc. Battlezone officially launches; adds FPS mode

After months of beta testing, the free-to-play shooter War Inc. Battlezone has now officially launched. The PC exclusive game, which can be downloaded from the War Inc. website, includes support for playing either as a third-person shooter or in the newly launched first-person shooter mode.

To celebrate the launch of the game, its development team at Online Warmongers have teamed up with Alienware for a giveaway contest where one person will win an Alienware X51 desktop. The contest will also give away 100,000 War Inc. codes that can be used to gain access to extra weapons and items, including the Alienware Arena branded chest plate.

The press release states:

In addition to a deep character customization system, it’s stacked tighter than a personnel carrier with weapons, accoutrements, and even heavy gear such as armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).  Bolstering the game’s customization options is the all-new weapons modification system.  It gives players thousands of possible firearm combinations with dozens of choices per weapon and a testing range to try out different modifications.  Additional launch features include clan warfare and stereoscopic and anaglyph 3D support.

Online Warmongers includes team members who have worked on games such as League of Legends, Call of Duty Black Ops, Gears of War and more.
