Watch Microsoft's "Big Data" live stream press event right here

If you are a fan of big data, Microsoft has a special keynote for you starting at 1PM ET / 10AM PT. The event itself is being held in San Francisco.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will be speaking at the event, along with company COO Kevin Turner and Data Platform Group corporate vice president Quentin Clark. Exactly what will be discussed has not yet been revealed, but it will apparently involve products that use many of Microsoft"s online and enterprise-based services, such as SQL Server 2014, Power BI for Office 365, SQL Server Parallel Data Warehouse, and Microsoft Azure HDInsight.

Microsoft"s press announcement for the media event is also pretty vague on what this discussion will be about:

Data infrastructure. Data tools. And ultimately, the power of data. From finding the connections that could cure cancer, to predicting the success of advertising campaigns, data can do incredible things. Join us online and get inspired. You’ll see how your peers are putting their data, big and small, to work.

If anything major from the press event is announced, we will be posting the news as soon as it is revealed.
