Samsung is about to kick off its Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, where it will announce the Galaxy S9 and S9+, its latest flagship handsets. The devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm"s newest chipset, the powerful Snapdragon 845. In some international markets, it will likely use the new in-house Exynos 9810 chip.
As usual, the firm is planning significant camera improvements. The smaller Galaxy S9 will include a single-lens sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, which is the largest on the market. The larger S9+ will have a dual-lens configuration, with the second lens having an f/2.4 aperture. Rumor has it that there will be some sort of adjustable aperture mechanism, although it"s not clear how that will be implemented.
