Microsoft has started to upgrade its Webmessenger service interface, to reflect the changes made in current MSN Messenger 7 beta builds. Notable changes include the ability to change your status before logging in, the addition of the MSN Today button, and the complete set of Messenger 7 icons and emoticons. Microsoft Webmessenger allows users to access the MSN Messenger system using a browser-based interface.
Microsoft is also starting to force users of MSN 7 Beta to upgrade their client to the most recent release. (7.0.0425) Users will be greeted with an upgrade prompt, which prevents a successful log-in to the Messenger system.
