Weekend downloadable PC games sales for June 29-July 1

It"s the weekend and it"s also the last we will see of June before we start into the second half of 2012. As we get ready for that prospect, people looking for downloadable PC gaming deals can find them right now on various services. On Steam, you can get major savings for the games that are a part of THQ"s Warhammer 40,000 license. From now until Monday, you can save 75 percent off the games in Relic"s Dawn of War RTS series, along with their recent third person action game Space Marine.

GoG.com is continuing their "Battle of the Games" event, where they are asking their users to vote which of two games will get a bigger discount for the next day. Today"s battle has people voting for either The Whispered Word or Trine. Today"s discount has Lords of the Realm at 40 percent off and Stronghold Crusader at 60 percent off.

GamersGate has a boatload of games on sale this weekend from Electronic Arts. Today, it"s Dragon Age II on sale for 70 percent off. There"s also a bunch of games on sale at GameStop, including Civilization V for $14.99 and Mass Effect 1 and 2 for a mere $4.99 each.
