The first weekend of October has arrived. As usual, PC game download stores are now offering a bunch of new sales deals to check out over the weekend. Over at Steam, they have cut prices on a number of THQ published games. All of the games involved in the sale will have price cuts of at least 50 percent. In addition, some games will get one day sales that will offer even bigger price cuts.
Over at GoG.com, the site has a weekend sale where a ton of older Activision titles can be bought for 60 percent off their normal price. The games on the list include a number that were originally published by Sierra and Vivendi Games before Activision merged with Vivendi Games a few years ago.
GameStop.com also has a selection of PC games available for sale this weekend. It includes the recent action game Sleeping Dogs for 20 percent off its normal price. GamersGate.com has price cuts for Bethesda Softworks" Elder Scrolls game titles this weekend, which includes the current game, The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, for 30 percent off, and its recent DLC expansion, Dawnguard, which is also priced at 30 percent off.
