Weekend PC Game Deals: Discover VR, try some sports, control a duo, and more

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

It is a solo game with a curious control mechanism that is free to claim on the Epic Games Store this week as Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons takes the place of Windbound.

Directed by Josef Fares, the mind behind A Way Out and It Takes Two, this 2013-released adventure game touts a double protagonist control mechanism. You take the roles of two brothers at once using one controller, with each protagonist tied to an analog stick. The story follows the brothers" adventures as they search for a cure for their father"s illness.

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons will be free to claim on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, February 24, with the time altering RPG CrisTales coming up next.

Humble is known for its high-value virtual reality bundles, and it is finally time for another one.

The new VR Discovery Bundle brings Tower Tag plus its soundtrack in the first tier for paying at least $1. Bringing up the second tier at the average price are two more games, Synth Riders and Blaston. However, as the current average price is almost the same as the next tier, let"s jump into that.

The third and final tier doubles the offered games, with Red Matter, Trover Saves the Universe, Panoptic, and Cook-Out joining in for $12. You have over two weeks to decide if you want to pick up this charity bundle full of VR games.

Free Events

It is raining free events this weekend on Steam, from sports games to rogue-likes.

Starting off, you can try out EA Sports" latest soccer entry FIFA 22 until Monday with every mode available. Joining it is Descenders, the extreme downhill bicycle racing title. Those looking for a more casual play session have Golf With Your Friends available as an option, a mini-golf title with over-the-top levels.

Also free-to-play this weekend is Children of Morta, the action roguelike which just received a cooperative play featuring update. The remaining free events are for the futuristic handball game HyperBrawl Tournament as well as the social deduction game Killer in the Cabin.
