Weekend PC Game Deals: Surprising Tomb Raider sale and some Halo Wars to try out

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Let"s kick things off by taking a look at the new bundles that have popped up this week.

First up is Fanatical"s Origins Bundle, which brings along 12 games split into two tiers. The starting tier costs just $1 and includes Rebel Galaxy, Punch Club Deluxe Edition, and Grey Goo. However, bumping that up to $4.99 will add on nine more games, them being RiME, Comedy Night, River City Ransom: Underground, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, STARWHAL, Overfall, Outpost Zero, Gloom, and Shuyan Saga.

Meanwhile, Green Man Gaming is also running five three-game bundles of its own alongside an action-adventure sale. Know that you can save an extra 20% on the three Adventure Bundles being offered by applying the code BUNDLE20 on the cart.

Free Events

While there weren"t any free games to try out last week, Steam is compensating this week with five free weekend promotions featuring titles from a variety of genres.

The biggest of the bunch is Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, Microsoft"s real-time strategy Halo spin-off. The game is set before the events of the FPS series, where you get to experience the Covenant and UNSC war in single-player, co-op and multiplayer modes before Master Chief"s adventures.

The fast-paced sports combat game Lethal League is also free to try out on Steam just before its sequel is slated to come through. The physics puzzler Crazy Machines 3 and the VR shooting title Hover Junkers have also jumped in on the free promotions wagon. Lastly, if you have an itch to try out an open-world tower defense game, Eden Rising: Supremacy could be up your alley, which just received a major update.

Big Deals

In addition to the usual sales, Green Man Gaming store also has a Paradox Interactive promotion running, and applying the code PDX18 on the publisher"s already discounted wares will net you an extra 18% off.

DRM-free Goodness

Now, with all those out of the way, let"s have a look at some of the DRM-free deals that are on offer this weekend.

Keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals may vary depending on the region you"re in.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend"s PC game deals folks, and some of you hopefully had enough self-restraint not to break your bank accounts. Of course, there is an enormous amount of other deals ready and waiting all over the internet if you comb through it hard enough. So while keeping your eyes open for those, remember to have a wonderful weekend.
