Weekend PC Game Deals: Time to grab Everything and more

Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place, every week, for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets.

Let"s start things off with another look at the October Humble Monthly Bundle, which has gone through some changes since its unveiling early this month.

You will still receive a copy of Battletech immediately for putting down $12 for this bundle, but now Sonic Mania will also roll in with it, Sega"s most recent take on the speedy hedgehog that delivers a classic experience. There"s a couple of Battletech DLC - Flashpoint and Shadow Hawk Pack - included now as well.

Don"t forget that there is less than a week left on the counter to purchase this bundle, with the rest of the hidden games - which in total are worth over $100 according to Humble - being unlocked and delivered to subscribers on October 4.

Replacing the six Batman game giveaway this week on the Epic Games Store are Everything as well as Metro 2033 Redux. And yes, that"s the game Everything which is free, not actually everything on the store, at least not yet.

Metro 2033 Redux is an upgraded version of 4A Games post-apocalyptic shooter that comes with enhanced gameplay and graphics over the original release. Everything, meanwhile, is an artsy simulation game set in a procedurally generated universe, where you can be anything and everything ever made.

The two games will keep their free status until October 3, which is when the indie puzzler Minit will be taking the freebie slot.

Free Events

It"s a rather short list of games having free events this weekend, with only two participants.

Ubisoft is hosting an open beta for its upcoming open-world cooperative title Ghost Recon Breakpoint this weekend, and you can gain access to it through the Uplay client. The servers may be having some issues, however.

Meanwhile on Steam, the World War I-set multiplayer shooter Tannenberg is having a free weekend, offering 64-player battles and unforgiving gameplay straight from the Eastern Front.

Big Deals

And now, we have arrived at this weekend"s big deals list, which is populated with discount games from a variety of ongoing promotions that we have deemed worth checking out:

DRM-free Goodness

Classic Activision and Blizzard games are having specials this weekend on the GOG store alongside interstellar games and Devolver Digital sales. Check out our highlights below:

Keep in mind that availability and pricing for some deals could vary depending on the region.

And that is it for our pick of this weekend"s PC game deals folks, and hopefully, some of you have enough self-restraint not to break the bank adding new games to your ever-growing backlogs. Of course, there is an enormous amount of other deals ready and waiting all over the interwebs if you comb through it hard enough, so keep your eyes open for those, and have a fantastic weekend.

Update: Corrected the Total War: Shogun 2 price.
