Windows 10 9926: Microsoft makes it easy to schedule your restarts

Earlier today, Microsoft released a new build of Windows 10 for the Insider Program and with it comes a plethora of new features. One of the new updates is a refinement to the Windows Update section of Settings that adds a helpful feature to make your Patch Tuesdays a bit more consistent.

In the latest build, you can now schedule when your machine will restart after patching from within the Windows Update tab. This feature is handy to make sure you know exactly when your device will restart and because of the placement of the timer, makes it hard to miss the setting.

It"s a simple addition and one that was not present in the same window in the previous build of Windows 10. While certainly not the most revolutionary feature, having easy control of the restart process goes a long way towards improving user satisfaction.

We have been covering all of the new features that shipped with the latest build of Windows 10, and if you need a refresher, you can check all of our coverage here.
