Six days ago, Microsoft released Windows 10 for PCs build 15048 to the Slow ring, which was the first new PC build in the ring since mid-December. The company is now offering ISO images of the build. To be clear, it"s not the first set of ISOs that the firm has offered since December, as it broke tradition by releasing images of select Fast ring builds during that period.
The versions of Windows 10 that are offered are as follows:
-
Windows 10
-
Windows 10 Enterprise
-
Windows 10 Education
-
Windows 10 Home Single Language
-
Windows 10 Home China
Microsoft is likely going to finalize the Creators Update this week, so Insiders might see an RTM build next week. If you"re looking for the most stable build to install, you might want to wait for that one, since it"s the same as the one that will be offered to the general public in April.
Once that RTM build is in the Fast ring, things should move pretty quickly. It will get promoted to the Slow ring, ISOs will be released along with an SDK Preview (or final SDK), and it will finally be offered to the Release Preview ring. Along the way, there will likely be a cumulative update or two.
If you want to get started with Windows 10 for PCs build 15048, you can download the ISO images here, where you"ll also find images for its predecessor, 15042.
