Windows 10 Mobile build 10134 could land soon, if a bug is squashed

The latest Windows 10 Mobile preview build came out a couple of weeks ago, but it looks like Insiders might be in for a treat as a new candidate for release is being tested inside of Microsoft right now.

Windows 10 Mobile build 10080 is still fairly fresh in everyone’s memory as it brought lots of new features to users. Unfortunately, a number of bugs and issues also came along for the ride, making the experience much less enjoyable for testers.

But all of that might soon be water under the bridge, as Gabe Aul announced a new build was being tested internally. And while that in itself is in no way surprising, the build in question, version 10134, is looking like a strong candidate for a public release.

@Sanair96 We"re flighting build 10134 for phones in internal rings. Build feels really good, but we have an upgrade bug we"re chasing still.

According to Aul, the build ‘”feels really good” which should give hope to those of us still using the previous version of the Windows 10 Mobile preview. Hopefully, a new release will fix many of the issues that users are experiencing.

We’ll still have to wait and see if build 10134 gets pushed, as an upgrade bug is still keeping the team from releasing it to Insiders. If that issue gets fixed, we might have a new build on our phones in the next few days.

Of course, until then, there’s also a new desktop build to look forward to, as well as a release of Windows 10 build 10130 to the slow ring, of which just got some important updates. We’ll keep you posted on all of these so stay tuned.
