Windows 8: Installation image walk through

The download for the developers preview of Windows 8 went live not to long ago. If you are wanting to see what the install process looks like for Windows 8, look no further.

If you are expecting big changes from Windows 7, you may be a bit disappointed. But, there are some notable changes in the images below. The entire install process took about 30 minutes, but this was running in VM environment.

Overall, there were no issues getting the install up and running. So far, the experience has been painless, but it is important to remember that this is an early build of the OS.
