A new build of Microsofts corporate instant messaging client has been released to Beta testers on Betaplace.com
There are no release notes and no listed changes or fixes. This build is listed as the release candidate build meaning Windows Messenger 5 will go final very soon along with Microsofts Real-Time Communications Server.
