Windows .NET Server RC1 is now available for download.
A new product key is required for Windows .NET Server RC1. You can obtain your product key(s) from Windows Beta . Please download and read the Feature Guide for Server RC1 from Windows Beta for an overview of the features in this build.
Product Key Information
Windows .NET Server RC1 requires a new product key to complete installation. Each key can only be used with Windows .NET Server RC1 builds. You are allowed to install this beta software on as many machines as permitted by your license agreement. The default license limit for technical beta testers is 2 machines per server version (detailed on Windowsbeta.Microsoft.com web site).
Before you begin, note the following:
- You must do a clean install or a supported upgrade if you have a prior version. Upgrade installations from any prior Whistler or Windows .Net Server are not permitted
- Windows .NET Server RC1 requires activation 14 days after installation. This release is a time-limited release and will expire 360 days after activation.
- Due to the nature of pre-release software, some of your applications and hardware may not function correctly
