Windows Phone developer Rudy Huyn hired by Dropbox, assures 6tag and other apps will live on

It looks like well-known Windows Phone developer Rudy Huyn is making his way to Dropbox as technical lead. Unsurprisingly, Huyn will help Dropbox to enhance the Windows 10 experience.

Hyun has become somewhat of a legend when it comes to Windows Phone development. He has created countless third party apps for some of the most popular apps including: Instagram, Snapchat, Dropbox, Tinder, etc. While he has gotten in some hot water over the years, for the most part he has created excellent relationships in attempt to bring major applications and better experiences to Windows Phone users.

While his new role will see him travel around the world and relocate to San Francisco, he assures the public that his day-to-day role at Dropbox will not effect his side project applications. Windows Phone users will still continue to get updates for his applications that include: 6tag, 6sec, CloudSix, 6snap and many others.
