Windows Phone certainly has a striking and original user interface, which is now being copied in India by cheap rip-off phones such as the Lemon Dual SIM Mobile T109. Normally phones such as these try to rip off either Android or iOS, so this is the first time that we"ve seen Windows Phone being copied.
The Lemon phone has a fantastic set of specifications ranging from a "high resolution" 3.7-inch HVGA (480 x 320) display at a whopping 155 pixels-per-inch, to a "long" (do they mean physically?) 1,200 mAh battery. There"s also a technologically advanced 1.3 megapixel rear camera, "King Movie Player" and "2000 Phonebook", and of course dual-SIM functionality complete with two phone tiles.
This cutting edge device is available for ₹2,999 (around US$55) and comes with a free wrist watch as well as a 4 GB microSD card. The good news is that at least someone is trying to copy Windows Phone, so it must mean Microsoft is doing something right in the mobile space despite the relatively low market share held by the OS at the moment.
