Windows Server Insider Preview build 20180 and new Windows 10 SDK now available

Microsoft released Windows 10 Insider Preview build 20180 to the Dev channel today. The build did not contain any major features and brought with it a bunch of fixes. However, in addition to the list of fixes. the blog post also confirmed that the company will release new Windows 10 SDK and Server builds along with the Dev channel builds. As promised, the firm has made available Dev channel (vNext) build 20180 for Windows Server.

As has been the case since January, there has been no information on what exactly is new with the release. The last post in the Tech Community forums is that of build 19551 from January 28. However, those interested to download the update and check for any noticeable new features can grab ISOs of Windows Server build 20180 from here.

Additionally, as is customary, the Redmond giant has also updated the SDK, ADK (Assessment and Deployment Kit), and WDK (Windows Driver Kit) Insider Preview downloads to build 20180. The HLK (Hardware Lab Kit) is still on build 19041. As with the Server builds, the company has also not provided any information about the new features and tools in the SDK. Those interested can download the latest SDK from here, ADK form here, and the WDK from here.

It is possible that the lack of any blog posts could be because of the early stages of development. Indeed, these are bits from the development version of the operating system that is not due for release until at least next year.
