The annual WinHEC conference is kicking off in Seattle this morning with a keynote address by Microsoft boss Bill Gates:
Microsoft Chairman and Chief Software Architect Bill Gates will focus on how key technology investments are paving the way for innovative market opportunities and a shift to a new platform. Gates will also discuss the impact of the upcoming introductions of Microsoft Windows Vista, 2007 Office System, and Windows Server "Longhorn."
Look for Gates to reveal additional details concerning the Beta 2 release of both Office 2007 and Windows Vista. Screenshots of Vista build 5384.2 have been spotted on several sites this morning, namely WinFuture.
The keynote address is scheduled to begin at 9AM PST. (Click here for time zone conversion) Traditionally the live web streams with their catchy "while you wait" piano pieces are available well in advance.
