LG V30 may not be launching anytime soon, but a lot of details about the upcoming flagship smartphone from the South Korean company are already leaking out. Earlier today it was reported that the company might be ditching the secondary display, which has been an important aspect of the LG V-series smartphones so far, and now newly leaked images have allegedly revealed the wireless charging module of the smartphone.
As per the images uploaded by Slashleaks of what seems to be the midframe of the LG V30, there exists a wireless charging coil and a tightly coupled battery module. The parts shown in the image bear a code LG-MV300L; however, there is no way to confirm whether the code specifically belongs to the V30.
Since the battery module is positioned below the wireless charging coil, it is likely that the battery would be a non-removable one on the device. In contrast to this, the LG V20 that was launched late last year had a removable back cover and battery.
Among other specifications, the LG V30 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 835 processor from Qualcomm, which is an upgrade from the Snapdragon 821 on the company"s current flagship, the G6. The RAM could be bumped up to 6GB. The V-series smartphones are launched towards the end of the year and we might see an announcement from LG at IFA 2017 in September.
