Before the holiday shopping season kicked off, Microsoft said that they would be temporarily cutting the price of the Xbox One to $349.99, a drop of $50. Following this announcement, and a plethora of Black Friday and Christmas deals, the Xbox One outsold the PS4 during Black Friday.
Now that the holidays are over, the company is saying that you need to act by January 3rd if you want to grab a console at the reduced price. According to Major Nelson, after this weekend, the price will jump back up to $400.
