Although those in North America have had the ability to customize their Xbox One Wireless Controller for quite some time, it was only recently that the program expanded to the UK, France, and Germany. Today at gamescom 2017, Microsoft announced that the Xbox Design Lab will be coming to over 20 more countries in Europe.
Starting on August 22, Xbox owners that are in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden - will now be able to order custom controllers online. Furthermore, the European Union websites from the above countries will allow shipping to Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
This means that even more people will have access to custom controllers, allowing them to express themselves and create something of their own. Along with the expansion announcement, Microsoft also stated that it would open pre-orders for the Xbox One X, starting with a special limited edition variant dubbed the Project Scorpio Edition. Currently, it is available for pre-order in some major markets, and will arrive to retail starting on November 7.
