Launched earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives users access to over 100 Xbox 360 and Xbox One games for $9.99 per month. While there are currently 112 titles available, some customers have wondered when new games will be added and old ones will be removed.
According to Xbox senior product manager Dennis Ceccarelli, at least five new games will be added on the first of each month. If you"re concerned about games being removed, however, you don"t have to worry for now, as he says that nothing will be removed from the catalog until late November.
The way that the service works is that you must download a game from Game Pass in order to play it; after that, you"ll have it for 30 days. With that in mind, you can rest easy knowing that you"ll always have 30 days to play a game.
While the service does include a number of Xbox 360 games, it"s not actually available for the console. All of those games are backward compatible. With the recent announcement of games from the original Xbox coming to Backward Compatibility, those titles will presumably be added as well.
