Microsoft has updated its first-party Xbox Games app for Windows 8 and Windows RT, including a few minor improvements and new features. Of note is a new home panel for the app, the ability to send written messages to friends, the ability to browse screenshots for games within the app, as well as general improvements to the app layout.
The update is available now from the Windows Store, and is the latest in a string of Microsoft-made apps for Windows 8. The Weather app was updated earlier this week, and updates to Xbox Music as well as the Mail, Calendar, People and Messaging app were released in late March.
