It was only last week that Microsoft began testing Xbox Console streaming with Insiders in the Preview Alpha and Skip Ahead rings of the Xbox Insider program, but availability is expanding pretty quickly. Delta users got it earlier this week, and now, members of the Omega ring can now test the feature as well. This means Console Streaming is now available for every ring of the Xbox Insider program, and it could be rolled out to the general public soon.

Console Streaming is one half of Microsoft"s game streaming vision. It lets users stream games from the console they already have and play them anywhere they want using a smartphone. Since it relies on things you already own, you can play just about any game you have on your Xbox One, unless it"s game made for the Xbox 360 or the original Xbox.
The other half of this plan is Project xCloud, which relies on cloud servers rather than your own console. That part is likely to take a little longer to develop, but it"s already being tested with a small set of users who registered their interest, with more invites being sent over time. Since this version relies on actual servers, the initial set of games you can play is pretty limited, including Gears 5, Sea of Thieves, and Killer Instinct. Of course, that"s going to expand as testing progresses.
Currently, Console Streaming is only available for users in the United States and the United Kingdom. This will likely expand in the future, though it"s not certain that will happen before the feature is released to the general public.
