Microsoft"s Free Play Days for Xbox Live Gold members are making a return this weekend, giving players the chance to play a few games at no additional cost. This time around, the Free Play Days will last from today, February 6, at 12:01AM Pacific Time until Sunday, February 9, at 11:59PM.
There are three games included in this round of Free Play Days: Surviving Mars, Dead by Daylight, and Secret Neighbour. Additionally, if you like the games, you can buy them at a discounted price to continue your adventure. Here are Microsoft"s descriptions for each title:
Surviving Mars
Stake your claim and colonize the Red Planet in Surviving Mars. Build your city from the ground up while dealing with infrastructural issues, environmental concerns and individually simulated colonist behavior, all on a planet without oxygen! Discover her secrets and build a sustainable society in this modern take on the bright futurism of the 1960s.
The title is available in three different editions, all of which are discounted by 50%. The Standard Edition will be just $15 instead of $29.99, the Digital Deluxe Edition is $20 instead of $39.99, and the First Colony Edition is $32.50 instead of $64.99.
Dead by Daylight: Special Edition
Take on the role of the stalker or the prey in the multiplayer horror game, Dead by Daylight: Special Edition. Situational awareness is key for the survivors playing in third-person view, while the killer focuses on their target in first-person mode, all in ever-changing environments.
Dead by Daylight"s Special Edition is also discounted by 50%, so you can get the game for $15 instead of $29.99.
Secret Neighbour
Break into your suspicious neighbor’s basement to rescue a missing friend. However, someone in your group is a traitorous Secret Neighbor in disguise. Collect keys and save your friend or separate, scare, and confuse those intruding in your house. Cooperation is essential but don’t trust anyone in this suspenseful multiplayer game.
Secret Neighbour has the smallest discount of the three games, with a 20% reduction to $15.99 from $19.99.
As Microsoft mentions, all these titles are also available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so if you want unlimited access to these games and more, that may be the way to go. The first month of Game Pass Ultimate costs just $1, but it will also automatically upgrade your Xbox Live Gold membership at no additional cost for the rest of its duration.
