Xbox Live issues affecting Call of Duty, Xbox Fitness and Xfinity On Demand

If you"re an Xbox 360 user trying to play an online round of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, you might be experiencing a series of crashes. Microsoft has acknowledged the issue stating that it"s to do with the latest update, but has provided no details on how or when it will be fixed. Since it is a software issue we might see Microsoft push out a bug fix, or it may be something on Microsoft"s end that needs resolving.

Xbox Fitness users are also affected with their own issues, but Microsoft hasn"t offered any details on that either. In this case, it suggests that everyone is affected, and Microsoft basically tells everyone to hang tight while they try to work it out. Xfinity, the media streaming service, is also experiencing issues.

While there is no detail on when any of this will be fixed, Microsoft actually has a feature that lets you receive an email or SMS when the service is back up and running. You merely have to log into your Microsoft account and input your mobile phone number, and you"ll get an alert when everything is smooth again.

If you"re affected by these issues and would like the SMS alerts, just enter your phone number into the relevant links below:
