Xbox One Insider Preview build 15026 now available in the Beta ring

Microsoft today released the second Creators Update build for the Preview Beta ring of the Xbox Insider Preview. Build 15026.1001, or rs_xbox_dev_flight.170201-2341, was released to Alpha yesterday.

The build does contain a couple new features. The Activity Tracker "can now control the transparency level and number of achievements in the achievement tracker", and there are improvements to automatic updates. For one thing, you can control whether updates are automatic regardless of your console"s power mode.

Update settings have changed as well. Instead of the "Console info & updates" section that currently exists, you"ll find now that it"s been broken up into two groups: "Console info" and "Updates". When you open up "Updates" settings, it will inform you that it"s checking for updates, something that the console previously didn"t do.

If you haven"t been invited into the Alpha or Beta rings, you can try to earn your spot by completing Quests and Surveys in the Insider Hub. You might also want to check your status, because if it currently says pending, you"re going to be in Preview Ring 3, which was recently populated.

For the full release notes, head over to the Xbox forum here. If you"re not a member and can"t access it, no worries, as they"re the same as when it was released to Alpha.
