Xbox Series X "Mini Fridge" launches in December for $99.99

Building on a meme, Microsoft officially announced the Xbox Series X "Mini Fridge" at its E3 2021 presentation as the show"s final reveal. With its announced holiday 2021 launch window approaching soon, the company today revealed details on how Xbox fans wanting one of their own can grab one as well as and some features it will include.

As evident by the name and images, the mini fridge"s design closely resembles Microsoft"s Xbox Series X console, but instead of gaming innards, here you can chill your drinks. Per the specifications, it will fit up to 12 beverage cans on the main shelves and any extras snacks and such on the door shelves. There is also a handy USB port on the front of the mini fridge for charging devices.

The Xbox Series X "Mini Fridge" comes in at $99.99, with pre-orders going live on October 19. Launch is set for December 2021 globally via various retailers.

In the USA, it will be sold at Target and Target.com, with Canada also gaining access via the latter website. In the UK, GAME will carry the mini fridge for £89.99, while Game Stop EU, Micromania, and Toynk will offer the device across France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, and Poland for €99.00. Microsoft is also working on making the replica available in more regions in 2022.

UPDATE: An Xbox spokesperson has reached out to us to confirm Target.com won"t be available as a purchasing option for Canada as originally announced. Instead, the Xbox Mini Fridge will be purchasable in the region via the Xbox Gear store directly:

"We can confirm we will be shipping online orders of the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge to our fans in Canada this holiday. Unfortunately, we got an update today from our partners at Target that they are not able to offer shipping to Canada through their website. Good news however, our team is working hard to support shipping the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge to our fans in Canada only directly from our Xbox Gear store. We plan to have this first wave of units to customer in Canada this December and will have more details to share very soon on pre-orders through our Xbox Gear store."
