The original Mi MIX created quite a frenzy in the mobile world but its successor, the Mi MIX 2, has experienced a cooler reception, thanks in part to the advancements in design from major competitors like LG, Samsung, Essential, and more.
When the Mi MIX 2 was launched, the firm offered a standard version of the handset and also promised that a ceramic model would arrive at a later date. While there was a bit of a delay, the company has now released the latter variant, which has a full ceramic exterior casing, versus the standard one, which uses a mix of metal and ceramic. Although it offers a majority of the same features as the standard version, like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 5.99-inch screen with an 18:9 ratio, it also packs something more, upping the RAM from 6GB to 8GB.
Currently, the ceramic edition of the Mi MIX 2 is only available in China and is priced at ¥4699 or roughly $702 USD. Unfortunately, the handset is currently sold out, meaning there will be a little bit of a wait to get your hands on it if you"re a local.
