Xiaomi Mi Band 3 fitness tracker with 20-day battery life lands in India

Xiaomi today launched its most anticipated product in the Indian market - Mi Band 3. The fitness tracker is priced at ₹1,999 ($28) and will go on sale from September 28.

It comes in three colors - Black, Blue, and Orange -, and will be available for purchase through Amazon India and Mi Online Store. Later, the Mi Band 3 will also be available through Mi Home Stores and across Xiaomi"s preferred offline stores.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 comes with a 0.78-inch OLED touchscreen display which the company says is 85% larger than the Mi Band 2. The display shows incoming call and text message alerts, current time, steps taken, and heart rate count.

It also provides 3-day weather forecast and comes with features like alarm clock, heart rate monitor, daily steps count, and sedentary reminder. The Mi Fit app for the fitness tracker takes care of the sleep analysis. It also lets you set a periodic heart rate tracking process for regular updates.

Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity is also included, and it"s certified for water resistance up to 50 meters. All of this is powered by a 110mAh battery, which the company claims can last for up to 20 days on a single charge.
