The Xiaomi Poco F1 or Pocophone F1 as it is known outside India, is one of the most powerful smartphones available at a very affordable price and in multiple RAM and storage options. However, the company is continuing to offer even more options as a new Armored Edition of the smartphone has been unveiled in India at a much lower price than before.
Xiaomi originally launched the 256GB storage variant of the Armored Edition Poco F1 along with the other variants back in August. It was the most expensive offering in the lineup at ₹29,999 ($430). The newest 128GB version with 6GB of RAM is available at a price of ₹23,999 ($345) which is just ₹1,000 ($15) more than the polycarbonate version of the device with the same configuration.
Apart from the physical changes, the hardware specifications of the Armored Edition Poco F1 are the same as others, which include a Snapdragon 845 chipset, a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display, a dual-lens rear camera with 12MP and 5MP sensors, a 20MP front camera, 4,000 mAh battery, a USB-C connector and a headphone jack.
The new Armored Edition variant is available through Xiaomi"s own online store as well as through Flipkart for the same price. Additionally, cashback and extra data on Jio are being offered with the device bought through either of the retailers.
