Today saw the introduction of Xiaomi"s latest new members of the RedmiBook family of laptops, the latest version of the RedmiBook 16 and the successor to the RedmiBook 14 Pro which was announced in August last year, the RedmiBook 14 II. The brand new duo of notebooks is scheduled to launch later today.
So far, Xiaomi has confirmed that the upgraded new RedmiBook 16 will be powered by Intel"s tenth-generation 10nm Core i7 processor. The Chinese electronics giant has also revealed that the upcoming laptop will sport the GeForce MX350 graphics card.
As for the RedmiBook 14 II, it also features the tenth-generation Core i7 processor coupled with NVIDIA"s GeForce MX350. Customers may also opt for a Core i5 variant with the same GPU. The notebook is available in 14-inch and 16-inch display size options with a 90.6% screen to body ratio. It comes with 512GB of SSD and RAM options of 16GB and 8GB.
The RedmiBook 14 II starts at ¥4699 (~$671) for the version equipped with a Core i5 processor and 16GB of RAM. However, it is safe to say that the maxed-out version with Core i7 will set cost more.
