Alongside its announcement of the Xiaomi 12 Series and MIUI 13, Xiaomi revealed the Xiaomi Watch S1 and Xiaomi Buds 3 as well as the Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro in a new colour.
In typical Xiaomi fashion, both products are quite affordable, the Xiaomi Watch S1 will be available in China for RMB 1,099 and the Xiaomi Buds 3 will be available for RMB 449 this works out to around $173 and $71 respectively, though, no global pricing for these products has been released just yet.
According to Xiaomi, its new watch sports a stainless steel frame, sapphire glass, and a comfy leather wrist band. The display is a 1.43” AMOLED touch screen which is great for viewing items and navigating through messages and notifications. It’s very important to mention, just like other Xiaomi watches, the Xiaomi Watch S1 does not run Google’s Wear OS. With a single charge, this watch offers 12 days worth of regular usage and will last 24 days on standby.
With the Xiaomi Buds 3, customers benefit from a dual-magnetic dynamic driver and Hi-Fi audio which should make music and podcasts sound good. The firm said that the buds support up to 40 dB noise cancellation and three active noise cancellation modes for different scenarios. These headphones will provide 7 hours of music playback on a single charge and 32 hours of total usage with the case. The Xiaomi Buds 3 Pro, which debuted in September are now available in a brand-new blue colour variant too.
