Xperia Tablet outed before IFA 2012

Pictures of Sony"s new Xperia tablet have been leaked along with its specs thanks to a member on the XDA Developers forums. There are currently three sexy pictures of the Xperia-branded tablet, and it does appear to be more attractive than Sony"s previous Tablet S device.

We can see that the Xperia tablet seems to have some form of clip on the top back part of the device. The device sports a two-tone look which, in traditional Sony style, looks very classy.

The device will have a a Tegra 3 chip, meaning that it is quad-core. The cameras include a 1 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera. The device is made out of a magnesium alloy and weighs about 570 grams. We expect to see the device in September and three models will be made available: a 16GB model priced at $399, a 32GB model priced at $499, and a 64GB model priced at $599.

We can also reveal that the device will run Android 4.0 (Ice-cream Sandwich) out of the box. Sony"s Walkman brand reboot will also return as an application for the device. We"re hoping to learn more about this device at IFA 2012. In the meantime, feel free to have a look at the gallery with the press shots of the Xperia tablet included.
