YI has been building different types of tech products for the past few years, but they really emerged to the market with the release of their highly affordable YI Action Camera. The follow up would be an improved iteration that trumped its competitor in every way possible. Not one to rest on its laurels, they are back it again with a new action camera that is slated to arrive in 2017.
The YI 4K was an extremely affordable action camera that made its debut earlier in the year. It offered quite a bit more compared to its GoPro competitor and it wasn"t all about price, as the YI 4K also offered more features. Since that time, GoPro has unveiled its latest, the HERO5 Black, and it looks like YI will have a response in the form of its latest offering, the YI 4K+. While there will undoubtedly be more details revealed at CES, scheduled to touch down in Las Vegas next week, for now they have touted the new camera as having the ability to record 4K videos at 60fps.
YI will also demonstrate its drone that debuted earlier this year, Erida. While there hasn"t been a price or release date offered, the drone is constructed with carbon fiber, offers a three rotor design, can record video at 4K, and has a top speed of 75mph.
