YotaPhone 3 could be priced starting at $350

YotaPhone 2

The YotaPhone 2 made its debut nearly three years ago and while it wasn"t the most powerful phone on the market during its time, it did have the unique feature of offering a secondary E-ink display, which made for an intriguing story.

Since that time, the firm has teased a successor, that at one point would be produced by ZTE and arrive in 2016. While that time has now come and gone, YotaPhone has been giving minor updates, letting folks that the phone is indeed still coming.

Now, a couple months after its last update in May, at an event in China, the firm has once again announced that the YotaPhone 3 is coming. Although the company was fairly mum about a majority of the details of the handset, it did manage to give pricing, which should see the phone come in at $350 for the 64GB version, while the 128GB model will arrive at $450. Naturally, like its predecessor, the handset will arrive with a dual screen, one full color and the other being an E-ink.

Of course, being that YotaPhone has made promises before about its releases, it could be quite some time before we see the actual hardware and into the hands of customers.
