TV series" viewers can simply search for "Fall TV shows" on Bing to see an organized list of the season"s lineup. Users can also refine the carousel and narrow down their search by genre, month of release and more. Additionally, users can search for "cancelled TV shows" to bring up a list of all TV shows that won"t be making their way back to the small screen. Moreover, the company states that it is offering predictions for two reality TV shows, namely Dancing with the Stars and The Voice.
Regarding the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards predictions, Microsoft says:
See the list of nominees and who Bing predicts will take home the statuette for each major category. For example, Game of Thrones is likely to take home an Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series for the second year in a row, and Veep is also predicted to repeat its Outstanding Comedy Series win.
For movie buffs, Microsoft has stated that users can search for "fall movies" on Bing to view all the titles coming to the silver screen this season. Clicking on any title in the carousel will bring up its trailer, reviews, cast details, local show times and more. Users will also be able to purchase tickets for movies three days prior to their theatrical release.
Microsoft has book-readers covered as well, the company states that:
With tens of thousands of new books published each season, it can be difficult to choose your next read. To help, we’ve enlisted our Bing Predicts technology that factors in the search, web and social buzz around the books, early reviews and more. From there, we used the data to showcase the top 50 books predicted to be the best sellers this autumn. Just search for ‘fall books’ to see which made Bing’s top list. From there you can use the filters in the carousel to search by release date and by paperback or hardback.
Microsoft says that it plans to announce more features for its Bing search engine soon.
