You can now get $200 off Surface Pro 4 with Core i5 and 128GB SSD, plus a Type Cover for $50

Buyers in the US can currently get $250 off the most affordable model in Microsoft"s Surface Book range - but there are also savings available for those thinking of buying a Surface Pro 4 tablet.

Microsoft is now offering 20% off the Surface Pro 4 with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. It"s now on sale for $1,039.20 - that"s $259.80 below its usual $1,299 price. But another deal is available that may be of interest to those who are watching their pennies a bit more closely.

Microsoft has also cut 20% off the Surface Pro 4 with Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB SSD, reducing its price by $200, from $999 to $799. If you buy that model, Microsoft will also let you purchase a Type Cover keyboard for just $50.

As you might expect, that offer applies to the "standard" Type Cover, which normally costs $129.99, and is available in five colors. But unexpectedly, it also applies to the pricier NFL Special Edition Type Covers too, which are usually $159.99, and feature distinctive designs for each of the teams in the NFL.

Microsoft has promised more deals on the way this week as part of its Black Friday promotions, including up to $430 off Surface devices, and Xbox One S bundles from $249.99.
