After the successful release of the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector’s Edition statue, 343 Industries has partnered with TriForce once again, to deliver two officially licensed replicas of helmets featured in the game"s single-player campaign. Currently replicas of the helmets belonging to "Spartan Jameson Locke" and "Kelly-087" are available for pre-order, which are set to ship in the second quarter of 2016.
Both helmets have been hand-sculpted and painted by the Triforce team, and designed from the original files used in Halo 5. The full-scale replicas have been crafted from polystone, and weigh in at nearly 15lbs each. Each of the helmets have also been fitted with LED lights, to replicate any illuminations found on the in-game equivalents.
The helmets are now available for pre-order, with a $162.50 deposit required today, before a final payment next year, bringing the total to a hefty $650.00. These helmets are limited to 500 worldwide, making this a true collector’s item.
This joins a range of high-end collectibles available for Halo 5, all carrying large price tags. When Halo 5: Guardians launched last month, a $250 edition of the game was available, which included a 14” commemorative statue of the two protagonists. For an additional $450, a replica of the iconic "Needler" was could also be obtained, built to scale from in-game assets.
