When the Nintendo Switch was first released, many questioned why the console wasn"t accompanied by some sort of media streaming app, due to its portable nature. Luckily, things are going to change as of today, as Hulu has now announced that its app will be available for the console.
Switch users will be able to take advantage of Hulu"s standard subscription, which costs $7.99 a month, or its more robust offering with Live TV, priced at $39.99 a month. Those that use the service will be able to customize the experience by enabling up to six profiles, along with its premium add-ons with services like HBO, Cinemax, and SHOWTIME.
The free app can now be downloaded from the eShop and will only require a subscription to the service itself. If unsure, you can always sign up for the trial and take it for a test drive. With Hulu being the first, we can only assume that many other streaming services will eventually land on the console.
